Decade of Doom celebrations May 10, 2018 By Arne In Uncategorized No Comments View Images Hello! As Marche Funèbre we have something to celebrate this year. We exist for 10 years and have no intention to let this go by silently! Here’s a list of our activities to celebrate this decade of doom: In March we travelled to the American west coast for our first overseas 10 days tour. From Seattle to Los Angeles… it was awesome! Some images to catch the atmosphere here. Along with the tour came ‘Darkness’, a new track, on a split album with our touring buddies Eye of Solitude (funeral doom metal from London). One of our most daring compositions, written and recorded last year. (link to the lyric video) There will be an anniversary EP, both on CD as on tape, which will be released on October 14th by GrimmDistribution and Cimmerian Shade Recordings. We will present the EP on October 14th in our home base Mechelen, together with some befriended and above all really good bands (Psychonaut, Faal, Loose License). We humbly invite you to join this doomed party! [event] Some more celebration gigs, like our first appearance on Dutch Doom Days, will be done in Fall, also in a country we never played before in the South of Europe! Final celebration party will be held at the tenth edition (no coincidence) of our dear Darken The Moon festival, this time in collaboration with Bro’D Promotions & Shades of Black and GRIMM Gent, on December 2nd in Sint-Niklaas. [event] We really hope this –in our humble opinion– impressive list of festivities has caught your attention. Even after 10 years the fire for our passion, the band Marche Funèbre, is still burning high! The March is coming… with the sound of DOOM!
